Obtuse Angels is a small indie game studio from the Czech Republic. It started in 2015 with a game made in 72 hours at Ludum Dare and returned in 2026 as the games label of Cabakorp s.r.o.

Long

Obtuse Angels is a small indie game studio from the Czech Republic. It started in 2015 as a team of four: a programmer, a 2D artist, a 3D artist and a musician. Cream of Society, a shooter made in 72 hours at Ludum Dare, is the game that started the studio; Diplomat, a strategy prototype, came out the same year. Both are still free on itch.io.

In 2026 the studio returned as the games label of Cabakorp s.r.o., a Czech software studio. New games are in development. Its claim says what it is after: games from a slightly wrong angle.
